CSV Dundee Media Action is part of the national charity CSV (Community Service Volunteers). Our aim is to help people play an active role in the life of their community through the use of media.
CSV Dundee Media Action has been active in Tayside since 1993. We receive funding from Scottish Enterprise Tayside, Jobcentre Plus, Dundee City Council and European Social Fund.
We work closely with local charities, community groups and the local authorities to produce videos, posters, leaflets, flyers and websites.
We produce the monthly environmental publication 'The Green Diary' which is distributed throughout Tayside in libraries, community centres, schools and museums.
We deliver quality media training and work experience through Training for Work New Deal 18 - 24 voluntary sector option and funded courses. We also offer training in media and IT skills for the voluntary sector and local community groups.
